Lots of good food, friends and fireworks! Last night we watched fireworks at our neighbor’s house and tonight we’ll watch more at another neighbor’s place. I didn’t mark anything so some of the lines look like I was quilting and drinking wine at the same time! I used a cream Aurifil thread and did not quilting on the stars. I did a simple free-motion quilting of lines. The tablerunner finished at 12″ x 26″ – perfect for a small table. I made two of the Spinning Star quilt blocks that were 12½” x 12½” and then added a 2½ x 12 ½” sashing strip between them. I’ll be updating it tomorrow as many of you would like the measurements for other sizes of blocks.
